• Kings 84, Magic 81: Box Score | Game Detail

LAS VEGAS — Impressive all-around efforts from rookies Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud led the Sacramento Kings to an 84-81 win over the Orlando Magic in an NBA 2K26 Summer League battle at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas on Thursday.

The Kings opened the game quickly as they already owned a 21-12 lead after one. However, the Magic awakened over the middle periods, not allowing Sacramento to add to its lead before intermission and then cutting four points into its advantage heading into the final period.

Orlando would shave another two points from its deficit before game’s end, although a consolation 3-pointer from rookie first-round pick Jase Richardson at the buzzer did make the final score deceptively closer. The Kings led by as many as 17 at one point, even as their second unit was outscored by a 22-15 margin.

Last year’s 18th overall pick, Tristan da Silva, led Orlando with 19 points, complementing them with seven rebounds, five assists and one block. Ethan Thompson supplied 16 points, one assist and one block. Richardson and Kings 2016 first-round pick Skal Labissiere produced matching 14-point contributions, with Labissiere also recording five rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

Clifford and Mason Jones co-led the Kings with 17 points apiece. Clifford added four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block, while Jones turned in five boards, five assists and two steals. Raynaud followed with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and one steal. Isaac Jones delivered 11 points, six rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.
