LAS VEGAS — Chris Livingston and Cormac Ryan scored 18 points each to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 90-89 victory over the Denver Nuggets in the NBA 2K26 Summer League on Thursday at Cox Pavilion.
The game went down to the wire, but Jamaree Bouyea was able to seal the win for the Bucks by knocking down the game-winning 3 at the buzzer. He finished the night with 13 points on 5-for-13 shooting, including 3-for-7 from deep, to go with three rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal.
The game got off to a tight start, with the Bucks holding a 19-18 lead after the first quarter. The Nuggets pushed back early in the second, but the Bucks mounted a 12-0 run near the end of the half and carried a nine-point lead into the break.
The Nuggets returned the favor in the third quarter, outscoring the Bucks by nine in the frame to tie the score at 64 entering the final period. The score stayed tight through the fourth, while Livingston and Ryan came up with key plays along the way, until Bouyea locked in the win.
Pete Nance also put together a solid outing for the Bucks with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, a steal and a block. Meanwhile, Andre Jackson Jr. chipped in six points, five rebounds and three assists.
On the other hand, the Nuggets put forth a great team effort, with four players scoring in double digits. DaRon Holmes II led the way with 15 points, four rebounds, an assist and a block. E.J. Liddell and Hunter Tyson each logged double-doubles with 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Tyrell Harrison tallied 13 points, eight rebounds, an assist and a steal.
