Ace Bailey, already the most scrutinized rookie from the 2025 NBA draft class, bounced back from a poor shooting night in his Summer League debut, to score 18 points on 7-14 shooting from the field and 3-5 from distance, to give his team a 112-111 win over the Grizzlies.

One of the more exciting developments from this game, however, will be the Hornets’ debut for first-round draft pick Kon Knueppel out of Duke. Charlette has yet to play this summer, and fans are anticipating big things this upcoming season from the rookie.

Last year, playing alongside top pick Cooper Flagg, Kneppel averaged 14.4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while shooting over 40 percent from three-point range. He is the type of player who can do a little bit of everything on the floor, and the Hornets’ franchise will be happy to have him on their side.

This is a great NBA Summer League matchup; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
