Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel has reportedly signed a multiyear shoe and apparel endorsement contract with Jordan Brand, according to Nick DePaula on X.

Knueppel was a second-team All-ACC selection last season at Duke, averaging 14.4 points, four rebounds, 2.7 assists and one steal on 40.6% shooting from 3-point range. He scored in double figures 32 times, including a season-high 28 points and eight assists on March 13.

The fourth pick in the 2025 NBA draft joins a talented roster of NBA players signed to Jordan Brand, including Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić and Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, among others.

Knueppel is the latest first-year player to sign with an apparel company ahead of next season. Cooper Flagg (New Balance), Dylan Harper (Nike), VJ Edgecombe (Adidas), Ace Bailey (Nike) and Jeremiah Fears (Adidas) are among the players who have previously signed with brands.

The 19-year-old was viewed as one of the top prospects in the draft and will begin his career representing the company that started in collaboration with minority team governor Michael Jordan. Knueppel is expected to don the new Air Jordan 40, which will be released on July 12.
