Khaman Maluach, Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea make their introductions
Phoenix Suns general manager Brian Gregory introduces the team’s 2025 draft picks: Khaman Maluach, Rasheer Fleming and Koby Brea.
LAS VEGAS – The Phoenix Suns can go several different ways with their starting lineup to open NBA Summer League play on Friday, July 11, at Thomas & Mack Center.
The game begins at 6 p.m. (MST) and will be televised on ESPN.
Here’s a projected starting Phoenix lineup:
Point guard: Yuri Collins
The 6-foot Collins averaged a double-double for Golden State’s G League team, Santa Cruz Warriors, of 14.5 points and 10.8 assists. He led the nation in assists his senior year at Saint Louis at 10.1 a game to go with 11.2 points a game.
“Everybody wants to score the ball. It’s trying to find something else on the court to stay out there.”

Perfect setup player. Has confidence he can guard multiple positions.
Shooting guard: Koby Brea
Second-round pick in the 2025 draft. Led the nation in 3-point shooting in the 2023-24 season at 49.8% in his final year at Dayton. He followed that up by making 43.5% of his 3s last season at Kentucky as a fifth-year player. Good size at 6-foot-6, 202 pounds.
Knockdown shooter. Looking to see how he plays on the defensive end.
Small forward: Ryan Dunn
Starting 44 games for the Suns last season as a rookie, the 6-foot-8 Dunn averaged 6.9 points on 43% shooting and 3.6 rebounds in 74 games. Shot just 31.1 from 3, but Dunn established himself as the team’s best defender. Long, athletic and aggressive.
Has worked diligently on the 3. Looking to see Dunn try to impact the game as a two-way player.
Power forward: Oso Ighodaro
The 6-foot-11 big started six games last season for the Suns, averaging 4.2 points on 60.4% shooting and 3.6 rebounds. He’s a connector in terms of moving the ball either in the paint off pick-and-roll or on the perimeter with handoffs.
Has added 12 pounds of muscle, making him more confident. Jump shot looked the same from a season ago at the team’s July 11 shootaround.
Center: Khaman Maluach
The 10th overall pick in the 2025 draft, the 7-foot-1 Maluach is a lob threat and rim protector who has range on his jump shot. He averaged 8.6 points on an insane 71.2% shooting, 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 blocks while starting all 39 games his one-and-done year at Duke.
Don’t let the smile deceive you. Has a fiery side to him.
“It’s dope.”

— Duane Rankin (@DuaneRankin) July 10, 2025First off bench: Rasheer Fleming
Second-round pick out of Saint Joseph’s. Very intriguing talent being 6-foot-8 with the ability to score inside and outside. He averaged career highs of 14.7 points on 53.1% shooting, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.3 assists in his third and final year of college ball.
Shot 39% from 3 his last year at St. Joe’s. If he can deliver that, rebound and defend?
