Grammy-winning singer and actress Coco Jones has announced her engagement to NBA star Donovan Mitchell, sparking waves of excitement from fellow celebrities, including Angel Reese and Dwyane Wade.
On Friday, both Jones and Mitchell shared the news on Instagram, with Jones posting a romantic photo of the couple kissing, her hand resting on Mitchell’s chest and displaying a dazzling engagement ring.

Jones and Mitchell have mostly kept their relationship private. However, Jones hinted at her happiness during interviews earlier this year.
“I’m happy and I will say my music is my outlet where I tell my stories and my truth. Some things I keep for myself because this is my life, too,” she told Club Shay Shay’s Shannon Sharpe.
Representatives for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair have been dating for two years and are excited to build a future together.

Born Courtney “Coco” Jones in South Carolina, the 27-year-old star has built a diverse career in music and acting. Her 2022 hit “ICU” earned her a Grammy for Best R&B Performance and she stars as Hilary Banks in the Peacock series “Bel-Air.”
