The Clippers came into the 2025 Summer League with some new faces and returning members from a team that was one win away from reaching the tournament’s championship game in 2024.
Jordan Miller, a star of the 2024 Summer League in Las Vegas, was waived just before the Clippers’ first game but was later cleared to become an unrestricted free agent. But Miller is still on the Clippers Summer League roster, trying to prove that he belongs not just in Los Angeles, but on a team in general.
Kobe Brown, who showed some development as a small-ball center, is looking to crack the NBA rotation as well. While there is now a logjam at the center position with the new acquisition, Brook Lopez, Amir Coffey is seemingly on his way off the team, which could mean minutes for a younger player.
Trentyn Flowers is another highly athletic player who is coming into his first Summer League due to a wrist injury that kept him out last year. He said he wants to work on his jump shot, but his overall game needs polishing with his physical traits.
Also spoke with Trentyn Flowers after Clippers’ shootaround before their game in Vegas tonight.
On what he can improve on this summer:

Then comes Cam Christie, the younger brother of former Laker Max Christie. Cam needed to be able to knock down three-pointers with consistency, but never found a rhythm throughout the G-League season.
It looks as though Christie added some muscle, and his first Summer League game against the Rockets proved that he wants to be more physical, making it a point to drive to the basket.
Yanic Konan Niederhauser and Kobe Sanders are two Clippers draft picks looking to develop with playing time in the G-League and turn into rotation players for the next era of the Clippers.
Spoke with Clippers 1st round pick Yanic Konan Niederhauser before shootaround this morning in Vegas.
When asked what he wants to show Clipper fans:
“I just want to show them who I am.” pic.twitter.com/3TYEqBOwYz

Konan Niederhauser is uber-athletic and has a standing reach that can touch the sky, but needs to develop enough of an offensive game to carve out a roster spot.
With the coaching staff, front office, former players, and current players present in Las Vegas for the first game at Cox Pavilion, the Clippers got a win, but the result does not matter at this point.
Support from superstars or not, the Clippers ‘ young players have games to play to showcase their talent, and a team victory is the first step in doing so.
