The Sacramento Kings failed to make the 2025 NBA playoffs, but some of their former players are continuing to make their mark as the conference semifinals are underway.

Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton has led the underdog Indiana Pacers to a 2-0 lead over the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers. Two road wins with the most recent ending with a game-winning stepback triple for the former Sacramento lottery pick.

Haliburton ended game two with 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists on 7/11 from the field including 2/2 from beyond the three-point line. No shot was bigger than his final.

Sacramento’s leader in made triples contributed a game-high 24 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal on 7/19 from the field, 5/8 from three.

“Before I bring Doug on, I want to share with you just why I believe so strongly Doug Christie is the right person to lead this franchise moving forward,” he said.
