The Spurs are 2-0 in Las Vegas Summer League.
Thus far, sideline reporter Katie George has hosted halftime interviews with Spurs General Manager Brian Wright and Head Coach Mitch Johnson. Additionally, she’s visited with Harrison Barnes and Stephon Castle, both of whom have been seen court side.
Yesterday. Jeremy posted from the sideline with other members of the Spurs.
Sochan, Julian Champagnie, Keldon Johnson, and Devin Vassell were all spotted at at San Antonio International Airport (as was Sandro Mamukelashvili) heading to Vegas in support of the Summer League competition.
Victor Wembanyama has also. been seen showing support from the sideline, as was Ron Harper as his son Dylan, the second pick of the NBA Draft, made his debut in the second game against the Dallas Mavericks.
The support from the Spurs team has been impressive. Vegas is the hotspot for seeing NBA players, coaches, and personalities.
I realize there are 29 other teams, but I have only been focused on the Spurs and their opponents.
During the Spurs first game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Jameer Nelson, Sr., assistant general manager for the 76ers, watched as his team were stifled by the Spurs, his son Jameer Nelson, Jr. a key participant.
Spurs next game is tomorrow against the Utah Jazz.
