The Golden State Warriors are on the lookout for reinforcements, having failed to add a single player during free agency.
ESPN insider Brian Windhorst believes the Golden State Warriors will be making two signings in the near future.
In the meantime, the Golden State Warriors are working with the roster available to them, and working out if there are any players who could be added from their Summer League roster.
Already a couple of undrafted rookies have stood out, including LJ Cryer, one of the most prolific three point shooters in college basketball.
He did not play in their 103-93 win over the Utah Jazz, and it was Gabe Madsen who stole the show.

Gabe Madsen started the game on the bench as the Warriors face the Jazz in Summer League in Vegas, who had Ace Bailey sitting out.
Madsen played 16 minutes and scored six three pointers, shooting 6 for 12 from three and 7 for 12 from the field.
He ended the game with a team high 22 points from his 58 percent shooting night. He also added 1 rebound and 1 assist.
Who is Gabe Madsen?
Gabe Madsen was undrafted in 2025 after spending four seasons in college with the Utah Utes.
The Wisconsin-born 24-year-old stands at 6ft 6″ and plays as a shooting guard. He averaged 15.3 points per game in college last season.
He scored more than 1,000 points and also broke the Utah Utes all-time record for three point scoring.
This included a Big 12 record for the season of eight 3-pointers in a game, on the road at Cincinnati.
Speaking last season, opposing coach Bill Self at Kansas paid tribute to Madsen after their 74-67 loss to Utah.
He told 24/7 Sports: “I think he’s one of the best movers without the ball in order to free himself. He’s good at getting the defenders stop and then move quickly.
“And he’s probably doesn’t get the credit that he probably deserves on being athletic, because he can create separations, and he’s got great legs and everything. But the bottom line is he hurt us bad.”
It is always a big ask for an undrafted rookie to go from Summer League to the main roster, but Madsen has a chance to earn a two-way deal with the Warriors.
For a team synonymous with three point shooting, Madsen could be the perfect fit.
