OKLAHOMA CITY, (KOKH) — Paycom has announced that it is relinquishing its arena naming rights agreement with the OKC Thunder when the new arena is completed.
The Thunder’s new arena is set to be completed in 2028, meaning Paycom Center will remain the name of the building for three more seasons.
“As a longstanding community supporter, Paycom has been proud to step up and support the Thunder and contribute to our city in meaningful ways,” said Jason Bodin, EVP of Marketing and Communications at Paycom. “With the citizens of Oklahoma City and the Thunder making significant investments in the new area, Paycom is committed to allowing the team to seek a new long-term naming rights partner for the new arena. We have been a major corporate partner of the Thunder since 2018. We will continue to explore new avenues to support the team and our community as we enter this new chapter of growth.”
