The Portland Trail Blazers put on a big finish to down New Orleans 93-87 in summer league play in Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
Rayan Rupert and D.J. Carton hit back-to-back 3-pointers to put the Blazers in front to stay as the clock ticked under five minutes. Caleb Love put the game out of reach with a fadeaway jumper to put Portland up 87-79 with less than a minute to play.
Rupert finished with a team-high 24 points on 4-of-6 (66.7%) shooting from 3-point range, while Carton added 20 points.
The Trail Blazers (2-1) take on Houston (0-3) to wrap up pool play at 5 p.m. Thursday.
