And no moment in Celtics history made that clearer than Thomas putting up an absurd 53 points against the Washington Wizards in the 2017 NBA Playoffs after hours in a dentist chair to repair teeth broken in Game 1 of the series, and fresh on the heels of the loss of his sister Chyna in a tragic car accident.
