He may have ended his 20s on the East Coast, but he’s kicking off his 30s right here in Southwest Texas. Luke Kornet has only been a member of the Spurs for a few days, but yesterday, San Antonio Spurs new #7 turned 30.
One of the few members of the Silver & Black to not be in Las Vegas during Summer League, the former Boston Celtic has kept a low profile since holding his press conference.
Kornet has some ties to Texas as he attended high school in Argyle, a suburb of Ft. Worth. Derrick White made some comments to Kornet that helped influence him to chose San Antonio.
Happy belated birthday, Luke. Hope you made it special with some Las Palapas.
