  • July 16, 2025

LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) – Kansas women’s basketball will be playing a 12-game non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

“We feel very good about the quality of our non-conference schedule,” Kansas head coach Brandon Schneider said. “The strength and mixture of home, away, and neutral site games will prepare us for the always challenging Big 12 slate.”

Kansas opens up the season with an exhibition game on Oct. 29 against Fort Hays State at home. The Jayhawks will follow up the opener with three straight home games against Kansas City (Nov. 5), Northwestern State (Nov. 9) and Lamar (Nov. 12).

The Jayhawks will play its first game away from Allen Fieldhouse on Nov. 15. Kansas and Missouri will renew its longtime rivalry at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo. KU and Mizzou will meet for the 84th time in series history.

Leading the way for the Jayhawks is All-Big 12 First Team selection S’Mya Nichols. All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection Elle Evans and Big 12 All-Freshman Team selection Regan Williams return.
