The 2025 NBA Playoffs are in full swing, and 16 teams are now on the ultimate quest to be the last one standing and capture the Larry O’Brien trophy. There are plenty of teams that feature former Razorbacks, as plenty of ProHogs look to become NBA champions this summer.

In the Western Conference, only two teams include former Razorbacks on the roster. The first of two is the Oklahoma City Thunder, featuring shooting guard Isaiah Joe and forward Jaylin Williams.

Joe went down as one of the best shooters in Razorback program history. He spent two years at the collegiate level, where he made the seventh-most 3-pointers in school history with 207 and shot the sixth-most 3-pointers in Hog history with 548.

He set the Southeastern Conference record for 3-pointers made by a freshman per game with 3.32, and tied the SEC record for most 3-pointers made in a season by a freshman at 113.

He ranked fourth in the NCAA and first in the SEC in three-pointers made per game with 3.62, and he set a school record for free throw percentage with 95.6%.

The Philadelphia 76ers selected Joe in the 2020 NBA Draft, and he spent two seasons with the 76ers before signing with the Thunder just a few days before the 2022 season, where he has carved out a solid career so far. He has been a 41.2% 3-point shooter for the back-to-back top-seeded Thunder.

Williams had a consistent two-year stint with the Hogs before heading to Oklahoma City. At Arkansas, he broke out during his sophomore year. He averaged nearly a double-double with 10.9 points and 9.8 rebounds, and he’s famously known for leading the NCAA in charges drawn in a season with 54.

In 2022, he was selected by the Thunder and has remained with the team since then. This season, he recorded three triple-doubles, including a 19-point, 17-rebound and 11-assist performance in a 133-100 win over the 76ers on March 19.

The only other former Razorback in the Western Conference is Golden State Warriors forward Moses Moody.

In one season with the Hogs in 2020-21, Moody was one of the top freshmen in the country. He was named to a multitude of awards, including SEC Freshman of the Year, First Team All-SEC and Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press.

He led the team in scoring with 16.8 points per game, ranking third in the SEC and fourth among all freshmen.

Moody was selected by the Warriors 14th overall in 2021, and he has been a solid contributor for Golden State. His points-per-game average has increased each year; he averaged a career high this season with 9.8 points. Moody appeared in four games of the 2022 NBA Finals, where the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in six games, giving Moody a championship in his rookie season.

In the Eastern Conference, the defending champion Boston Celtics have a former Razorback in Jordan Walsh.

Walsh was a one-and-done forward who was a contributor to the Hogs 2022-23 season. He averaged 7.1 and 3.9 rebounds. He did not record any significant accolades during his time as Hog, but played a vital role in Arkansas’ Sweet 16 run, where they defeated the No. 9 seed Illinois and No. 1 seed Kansas.

He has not seen the floor much at the professional level, but is one of the league’s best G-League players. He averaged 14.4 points in his rookie season with the Maine Celtics.

Over in Milwaukee, the Bucks have a Razorback legend in Bobby Portis.

Portis is in a class of his own when it comes to Arkansas legends. He was the first player in program history with 1,000 points and 500 rebounds as a sophomore. In Arkansas’ 2015 NCAA Tournament first-round win over Wofford, he surpassed 600 points and 300 rebounds on the year, becoming the first player in program history to accomplish the milestone.

In the 2021 Playoffs, he averaged 8.8 points and 5.0 rebounds off the bench to help secure the Bucks a title in six games over the Phoenix Suns.

Several hours south of Boston is the Orlando Magic, home to former Hog Anthony Black.

Black did it all in his one season with the Hogs in 2022-23. He was the only player in the SEC to rank in the top 25 in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks per game. He is the only player in Razorback history to reach 450+ points, 180+ rebounds and 140+ assists in a season.

Black is in his second season with the Magic, and he improved his points per game from 4.6 to 9.4. He had seven 20-point performances and had 16 points on 3 of 3 from 3-point distance to help the Magic defeat the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the NBA Play-In Tournament, securing the seventh seed for Orlando.

All it takes is 16 more wins for a team to secure a title. With a handful of former Hogs already having one to their name, it might not be long before more names are added to the list.
