CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Charlotte Hornets have qualified for the four-team playoff tournament at the NBA 2K26 Summer League after improving to a perfect 4-0 after a 106-81 win over San Antonio Thursday night.
The Hornets (No. 3 seed) will play Oklahoma City (No. 2 seed) on Saturday, July 19 at 6 p.m. ET in the semifinals.

Charlotte’s +12.8 point differential placed them ahead of three other 4-0 teams (Atlanta, Minnesota, Sacramento) to advance to the playoff round in Las Vegas.
Kon Knueppel, the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, is averaging 13.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 28.2 minutes per game, while Liam McNeeley, the 29th overall pick in this year’s draft, leads the team with 8.5 rebounds per game (12th-most in Summer League). KJ Simpson, the Hornets second-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, leads Charlotte’s Summer League team in scoring and assists at 19.3 points per game (.473% FG, .370% 3P, .789% FT) and 5.5 assists per game (15th-most in Summer League).
