The Denver Nuggets are fully expecting center Jonas Valanciunas to be with the team when the season starts amid speculation over his NBA future. Since he was acquired from Sacramento, there have been reports that Valanciunas was being courted by the Greek EuroLeague club team, Panathinaikos. Valanciunas averaged 10.4 points and 7.7 rebounds last season. He’s expected to be the backup to three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic. The Nuggets also added Cam Johnson, Bruce Brown, and Tim Hardaway Jr. this offseason. Johnson was acquired in the deal that sent Michael Porter Jr. to the Brooklyn Nets.
