Duncan Robinson reacts to Detroit Pistons trade, what he sees on roster

Duncan Robinson reacts to joining the Detroit Pistons in free agency sign-and-trade from Miami Heat, Sunday, July 13, 2025 in Las Vegas.

The Detroit Pistons have a winning record in NBA Las Vegas Summer League play, but it wasn’t enough to get them to one of the four semifinal berths.

With a 108-88 win over the Miami Heat on Thursday, July 17, the Pistons improved to 3-1 in the Summer League standings and will play in a fifth game over the weekend. However, the Pistons finished out of the top four (Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets and Sacramento Kings), meaning they’re out of the running for a Summer League title.

The Pistons will play in one final game, an 8 p.m. matchup against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, July 19. The game will not be broadcast on a traditional TV network but can be streamed on ESPN+.
