Two-way guard Kevon Harris (18 points, 6 assists, 4 steals) was excellent versus Minnesota as Houston secured its first summer-league win of 2025.
The Houston Rockets wrapped up their stint at the NBA’s 2025 summer league with Saturday’s 104-101 victory (box score) over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
It was the first summer-league loss for Minnesota (4-1) and the initial win for Houston (1-4).
Heading into Las Vegas, the Timberwolves’ summer roster featured more players with either proven NBA experience or perceived upside. Making matters worse, Houston was again short-handed, with second-year guard Reed Sheppard and two-way center N’Faly Dante sidelined by minor injuries.
Yet, led by a strong showing from two-way guard Kevon Harris, the remaining Rockets fought back from a 17-point deficit to eventually grab a feel-good victory.
