ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Police in Tennessee have arrested Rockford native Sincere Parker on a suspected charge of aggravated assault.
The Memphis Police Department said the charges stem from an alleged May 27th incident.
A victim told police she was arguing with Parker when he pushed her, hit her in the face and choked her. According to the police report, the victim was bruised and had a bloody mouth. She also claimed Parker broke her phone.
Police weren’t made aware of the incident until June 12. Information on July 15 led to Parker’s arrest.
Parker’s lodged in the local county jail without bond. He faces one charge of aggravated assault and another of vandalism of $1,000 or less.
Parker is a graduate of Rockford East High School. He transferred from McNesse State to Memphis in April.
