MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Grizzlies have added another piece to their frontcourt, signing former Denver Nugget PJ Hall to the squad, the team announced Sunday.
The sophomore spent his rookie season with the Denver Nuggets. Although he only competed in 19 games for the Nuggets, he spent most of his rookie year dominating in the G-League.
Hall averaged 19.2 points, 12.5 rebounds during the regular season with the Nuggets’ G League Affiliate team, Grand Rapids Gold.
Hall was a star forward for the Clemson Tigers prior to the NBA being selected to the 2023-24 All-ACC first team his senior year.
While Hall is on a two-way deal, meaning he could see time with the Memphis Hustle and the Grizzlies, he could spend more time in the FedEx Forum.
With injuries currently to Zach Edey and Jaren Jackson Jr., it was wise for the Grizzlies to add some frontcourt depth going into next season.
