Lane Hladky is coming off a 4A State Championship season with the Campbell County boys basketball team and will continue his athletic journey at the college level at Dickinson State in North Dakota. Hladky played a big role in the Camels’ championship run with a 25-point game in the State Tournament vs. Kelly Walsh and 15 points in the 4A title game vs. Laramie.
In his senior season. the 6-2 guard was an All-State selection, averaging 18 points a game, which led the team. He had a 32 point effort vs. Cheyenne Central, 31 vs. Laramie, and a pair of 29-point efforts against Cheyenne East and Thunder Basin. He shot 44% from the floor and a whopping 81% from the free throw line.
Hladky was an All-Conference pick in his junior season, averaging 16 points a game, which led the team, shooting 41% from the field and 78% from the line. He had a 28-point game vs. Thunder Basin and 27 vs. Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Hladky was also named 4A All-Conference in his sophomore season, averaging 11 points a game.
Dickinson State is an NAIA institution that competes in the Frontier Conference.
