LeBron James may have been eliminated from postseason play already, but the Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar is remaining in the public eye. Of course, he is doing a new podcast with former superstar point guard Steve Nash and the two looked at the current Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Golden State Warriors series in their most recent episode.
In Game 1, the Timberwolves were unable to take care of business. They allowed the Warriors to come into Minnesota and steal home-court advantage by a final score of 99-88.

While the win was a big one for Golden State, Stephen Curry suffered a hamstring injury. It has since been reported that he will miss the next week at least due to the injury.
Keeping that in mind, James made his prediction about the series. Not only does he see the Timberwolves winning the series, he could see them going further than that.
“I can see them for sure getting to the Western Conference Finals, if not the Finals,” James said. “Obviously, health is wealth. Health is wealth in the postseason. But, I think they have all the makeups. They have shooting. They have toughness. They have size, they have foot speed, they have playmaking…At least Western Conference Finals. If not, then the Finals.”
James would know about Minnesota first-hand, as the Timberwolves knocked the Lakers out of the playoffs in just five games.
