Ime Udoka’s ex-fianceé Nia Long has no love lost for the Boston Celtics, as she was over the moon after the New York Knicks beat the C’s 91-90 to take a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoffs series on Wednesday.
In the 2022 offseason, the Hollywood actress was a popular topic among NBA fans. At the time, Udoka was suspended by the Celtics over an affair with a team staffer, which led to Joe Mazzulla taking over and leading Boston to its first championship since 2008 last season.

Long disappeared from the public eye for a while after the Udoka scandal, but she’s now having a good time watching the Knicks upset the team her former boyfriend used to work for.

Shortly after Jayson Tatum was blocked in the final possession of Game 2, Long took to X to celebrate the Knicks’ 2-0 series lead.
“Let’s (expletive) go [New York Knicks baby!!!!” she tweeted.
Fans were excited over Long’s message and flooded the comment section with supportive messages.
“A REAL NEW YORKER,” one fan said.
“I forgot your from Brooklyn lol lol… I can’t argue with Nia lol! Carry on,” another fan wrote.
“That’s what I’m talking about Nia!!!!!” a third fan wrote.
The series is headed to Madison Square Garden for Games 3 and 4. The Celtics are in a complex position entering hostile territory. The Knicks can seal the deal at home, but Boston is eager to bounce back and make a statement in New York.

It’s unclear if Long will attend any of the next two games, but she’s paying close attention to this matchup.
