The Oklahoma City Thunder have had a quiet offseason thus far as they did not need to make many moves with their core returning next season.

Of course, the Thunder are coming off a dominant season in which they capped off by winning the championship and they made it a priority to keep their stars around this offseason.
They did just that by signing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren all to max contract extensions, keeping their star trio together for the foreseeable future.

While the Thunder have had a quiet offseason, one of their former players has been in the news recently as he is attempting an NBA comeback.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Woo, Victor Oladipo is attempting an NBA comeback and has been impressing teams during workouts.
“The two-time All-Star, 33, was part of a well-attended private workout in Las Vegas on Monday morning, with a large contingent of NBA and European teams attending. Oladipo played full-court five-on-five in a group workout of international pros. Multiple team sources in attendance came away impressed, with Oladipo described as being in excellent shape as he pursues another comeback,” Woo wrote.

Of course, Oladipo played only one season for the Thunder during the 2016-17 campaign after he was traded there by the Orlando Magic.
Oklahoma City then traded him to the Indiana Pacers for Paul George in 2017, a trade that set them up to land Shai in the future.

Oladipo has not played in the NBA since the 2022-23 season with the Miami Heat due to multiple injuries, which was a major issue for him during his career.
Despite this, the 33-year-old guard is looking to make a return to the NBA next season and there should be multiple teams interested in signing him as a key piece off the bench.
