The Phoenix Suns are looking at quite a busy offseason ahead of them.
The first move was made when they fired head coach Mike Budenholzer. The position remains open, for now.
The Suns also made a significant front office move when they announced that Brian Gregory would be the general manager. James Jones now steps into a senior advisory role.
NBA Insider suggests Phoenix Suns head coach prospect
Now that owner Mat Ishbia has one of his guys in place, the Suns will start their pursuit of a new head coach.

Under Budenholzer, the team went just 36-46 and finished as the No. 11 seed in the Western Conference.
It was a disappointing season to say the least. They hoped to improve upon last year’s result of getting swept in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, but injuries to Kevin Durant made that tough.
According to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto, the Suns could go off the map and hire Adam Caporn.
“Washington Wizards assistant coach Adam Caporn is among those expected to draw consideration for the vacant head coaching position for the Suns,” Scotto wrote.
Caporn, an Australian native, spent last season as an assistant coach for the Washington Wizards after two seasons as an assistant with the Brooklyn Nets.

Caporn was recently appointed as the head coach of the Australian Men’s National Basketball team. He played his college ball at Saint Mary’s, and played from 2003 to 2006 with the Wollongong Hawks and 2006 to 2009 playing for the Perth Wildcats.
It would certainly go against Ishbia’s trend of hiring former championship-winning coaches like Frank Vogel and Budenholzer.
