Valerio Antonini, president of the Trapani Shark, announced the new transfer market move of the Sicilian team. Trapani, in fact, has reached an agreement for the arrival of the team’s new center: Adama Sanogo.

Originally from Mali, Adama Sanogo has played for the Chicago Bulls for the past two seasons, but has spent most of his time in the G League with the Windy City Bulls, the Chicago Bulls’ affiliate franchise.

A UConn product, Sanogo went undrafted in the 2023 draft and continued to develop his game in the G League.

Last season, Sanogo averaged 16.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.3 blocks per game in the G League.

Sanogo’s arrival should help deal with the loss of Chris Horton, who left to play for Reyer Venezia.

In his tweet announcing the deal, Antonini said he was very pleased with Sanogo’s arrival, calling him “a top player who will complete a fabulous team.”
