NIKOLA Jokic doesn’t need to win an NBA Championship to pop champagne.

While at home in Serbia, Jokic got to watch one of his beloved horses win a race.

Jokic is known as a stern-faced player in the NBA, with not many things able to get him emotional.

However, that isn’t the case when it comes to his horses.

Cameras spotted Jokic in tears after his horse finished in first place.

He quickly ran to celebrate with the horse and driver and popped champagne in celebration.

Jokic’s celebration had many fans pointing out how much more excited he was to win a horse race than he was to win the 2023 NBA Finals.

After winning the championship with the Denver Nuggets, he showed little emotion in his interviews.

“The job is done,” he said on the court.

“We can go home now.”

Jokic didn’t even want to attend the championship parade, saying “no, I need to go home,” when asked about it.

He said it was because his horse races were on Sunday, and the Thursday parade would be too close.

Jokic did end up attending the parade, but never showed as much emotion as he did after his recent horse racing win.

NBA fans found this hilarious, and shared their thoughts about his love for horse racing on social media.

“He didn’t even cry when he won the championship btw,” one fan said.

“The NBA really is just a side gig for him,” another fan said.

“The most emotion I’ve ever seen from the man and he’s won 3 mvps and a chip lmao,” a third fan said.

“Dude loves his horses,” a fifth fan said.

Jokic is coming off of a season where he averaged 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10.2 assists.

He finished second in MVP voting behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
