CLEVELAND, Ohio — Jarrett Allen’s summer just got a whole lot more magical — and a lot more musical.
The Cavs center married longtime partner Jordyn January on Sunday in a heartfelt ceremony that was as much a celebration of love as it was of friendship, laughter, and serious choreography.
The two got engaged in 2023 when Allen, ever the gentle giant, dropped to a knee on a beach and popped the question. Two years and one carefully planned playlist later, the couple tied the knot surrounded by loved ones — including a whole crew of Cavs connections.
It was a momentous occasion with familiar faces all around. Present and former teammates were in attendance, along with Cavs staffers and even team photographers. One of Allen’s closest friends, forward Dean Wade, suited up as a groomsman, helping hold down the frontcourt — and the formalwear.
But it was the reception that really brought the house down.
The 6-foot-9-and-a-half big man — afro in full glory — hit the dance floor alongside his new wife and their bridal party for a full-on choreographed routine to none other than “We’re All in This Together” from High School Musical.

The wholesome, show-stopping moment was shared on Instagram by Allen’s former locker neighbor and current Chicago Bulls swingman Isaac Okoro, who couldn’t help but post the clip to his Story for the world to see. It turns out Allen’s footwork isn’t limited to drop coverage and rim-running — he can groove, too.
For a player known around the league for his humility, quirky interests, and no-flash approach to stardom, Allen’s wedding was a perfect mix of heart and humor. A reminder that beyond the rim protection and rebounding is a man who’s just as comfortable leading a dance break as he is anchoring a defense.
And if the song choice is any indication, the Cavs might have found their new team motto for next season. Because when it comes to Jarrett Allen and Jordyn January, one thing is clear:
They’re All(en) in this together.
