There was no shortage of Luka Doncic news Monday.
The former Dallas Mavericks star was in New York to start the week, notably making a stop at an MLB matchup between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays. Doncic gained social media traction when he met up with Yankees standout Aaron Judge, securing a pair of Judge’s cleats and a game-used bat.
The fun didn’t stop there for Doncic.
He also made his way into the broadcast booth, where he was asked about his Men’s Health feature story that published Monday morning. In the story, Doncic breaks down what has gone into transforming his body as he prepares for a new season with the Lakers.

A Yankees broadcaster brought up how conditioning was a key topic of discussion when Doncic was stunningly traded by the Mavericks in February. When he was jokingly told to mail the Mavericks a copy of the latest Men’s Health magazine issue, Doncic had a quick response.
“They probably saw it, so I don’t have to worry about that,” Doncic joked.

Doncic is looking to move forward in Los Angeles, taking his offseason conditioning to another level. He’ll be pretty busy throughout the summer as he’ll suit up for Slovenia in a EuroBasket qualifying tournament in August.
Before he plays for his national team, Doncic is on a promotional tour for Jordan Brand. After Monday’s New York stop, he’ll make appearances in Chicago and Los Angeles later this week.
