Will the fourth time be the charm?

The Florida Gulf Coast men’s basketball team is searching for its first NCAA Tournament appearance under head coach Pat Chambers, and the Eagles learned their path to the Big Dance Tuesday as the Atlantic Sun released its 2026 men’s basketball schedules.

FGCU will open its 18-game ASUN slate with a pair of games on the road, playing at Central Arkansas and North Alabama on Thursday, Jan. 1, and Saturday, Jan. 3, respectively. The Eagles host their first game at Alico Arena against Austin Peay on Jan. 8 and wrap up regular-season conference play on Saturday, Feb. 28 at Stetson.

Last season, the Eagles made their first postseason appearance in Chambers’ third season at the helm, reaching the semifinal of the College Basketball Invitational, losing to Cleveland State. FGCU finsihed with a 19-15 record. Queens (N.C.) knocked FGCU out of the ASUN Tournament for the third straight season, beating the Eagles in the quarterfinals, 71-65.

Here’s the Eagles’ 2026 ASUN Conference men’s basketball schedule.
