PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — The Trail Blazers are going up for sale, but what does that mean for Portland?

Could the team potentially be moving out of the Rose City? This week, Mayor Keith Wilson and Gov. Tina Kotek even wrote a letter to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, urging him not to allow the team to be moved.

Now, a new group is calling on the community to rally and keep the Blazers in Portland. The group is made up of former Blazers, team officials, sports executives and local community leaders.

One of the members of that group is former Trail Blazer Chris Dudley.

ARC PDX spoke with him to hear why he believes the team needs to stay in Portland, and his thoughts on who should buy the team.
