Richaun Holmes has had a solid 10 years in the league since the Philadelphia 76ers selected him with the No. 37 pick in the 2015 NBA draft. He has career averages of 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds while being a solid contributor everywhere he’s been.

He averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 156 games with the Sixers across three seasons. He was a solid backup to Joel Embiid and went on to make contributions for the Phoenix Suns, Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks, and Washington Wizards, but he is now headed overseas.

Holmes has agreed to a deal with Panathinaikos that will make him one of the highest-paid players in EuroLeague as he continues his basketball career.

As Holmes continues to grow as a player, he will likely look for his next NBA opportunity. Playing overseas is a good chance for him to continue growing and then earn another shot in the league.
