While much of the focus was on the Chicago Bulls during their Play-In Tournament game against the Miami Heat, a courtside fan at the United Center also grabbed attention.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams was in attendance for the event, showing his support for the hometown team in its bid to extend the season and make the playoffs. To make the moment even better, Williams hyped up the fans with what he did when the cameras turned to him.

In a video shared by the Bulls on Instagram, Williams can be seen signing a football that was handed to him. The quarterback then stood to face the crowd and launched it toward the fans at the back.

Sure enough, fans were quick to comment on social media about Caleb Williams’ epic throw.

“Please tell me they were looking when he threw it. Absolute cannon,” a supporter shared. A fan added, “Man of the people.”

“Safe to say The wrist is healed,” another commenter wrote.

“Highlight of the game,” a follower mentioned.

A poster remarked, “That’s my QB1.”

A sixth social media user noted, “That was dope Caleb.”

“To the back of the back. I respect it,” a fan reacted.

While Williams’ presence at the game was a nice treat, the basketball the Bulls played on the court was quite disappointing, to say the least.

The Bulls fell to the Heat 109-90, unable to find an answer to Tyler Herro. The All-Star guard scored 38 points on 13-of-19 shooting for Miami, while Chicago had Josh Giddey lead them in scoring with 25 points.
