Something his former Chicago Bulls teammate John Salley is also expecting.
The four-time NBA champion played with Jordan for half a season in 1996 and won a chip with the legendary figure that year.
The now 61-year-old, who is best known for his time at the Detroit Pistons, shared a brutal prediction for Jordan’s upcoming broadcasting role.
“It’s gonna be a lot of, ‘That boy sucks!” Salley said on The Rich Eisen Show.
“Man, I don’t know how they’re paying that guy, I wouldn’t have paid him. Oh, he is 62 now, he is going to tell you what he thinks.
“I’m sure of that, but his perspective is from a killer. So, it’s gonna be really, really good.”
NBC have poached arguably the best talent going in Jordan and someone who will command respect when analysing the game.

Jordan is a 14-time NBA All-Star who won six NBA championships, picked up six NBA Finals MVP awards and won ten scoring titles.
He also won five more MVPs in the regular season, was selected ten times into the All-NBA First Team, nine times into the All-Defensive First Team, won three All-Star MVP awards and is a two-time Slam Dunk champion.
Jordan also landed two Olympic gold medals and was part of the famous 1992 Dream Team that stormed to the top prize in Barcelona.
