Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is a different beast in practice.
NBA fans have gotten used to Stephen Curry nailing down insanely difficult shots during games. But Curry didn’t develop that skill overnight.
Of course, the Golden State Warriors star has worked hard behind the scenes. Keeping that in mind, it’s obvious that Curry must go on even more unbelievable scoring streaks in practice.
Unfortunately, the Warriors’ 14th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Moses Moody, wasn’t aware of the Baby-Faced Assassin’s skills.

Being a lottery pick in the 2021 draft, Moody is obviously a talented prospect. However, even then, he’s nowhere close to Curry’s level.
Well, Moody found that out the hard way before he was even on the Warriors team.
“My first time meeting him, he came to my workout before I was even on the team. I had just seen him over there and I was like, ‘Man, that’s crazy. I’m here. This is the NBA now.’
“Got to be one of them practices, like he do the thing that he doing in the game when he’d just take over and go crazy,” Moody said on the Young Man and The Three podcast.
He added: “Imagine it like in practice, he just do it all the time. One of my first times, I ripped him. I’m a rookie, I’m just coming in so I’m feeling good about it.”
Little did Moody know, it was about to be his ‘welcome to the NBA’ moment, thanks to Curry.
Golden State Warriors players knew Stephen Curry was about to ‘go crazy’
While Moody didn’t reveal any actual numbers from his matchup with Curry in practice, he did claim that the Warriors star went ‘crazy’ and no one in the facility was surprised.
“I just felt everybody in the room kinda like, ‘He don’t know.’ Then Steph do what Steph do and go crazy and all that,” Moody continued.
“I’m like, ‘I know that feeling was right.’ I knew what I felt. Everybody knew what was gonna happen,” the Warriors guard concluded.
Moody may have gotten off on the wrong foot with Curry, but the 23-year-old has slowly earned his spot on the team.
So much so that the Warriors are reluctant to include Moody in any potential Jonathan Kuminga trade this offseason.
