OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA (KOKH) — Oklahoma City Thunder player and NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander unveiled his first signature shoe with Converse.
The limited edition Shai 001 is a basketball low-top shoe in butter yellow and comes out on Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. Central Time.
It’s priced at $130 on the Converse website, and is described as harmonizing comfort, containment, durability, and style into a basketball shoe.
It has a puffed, molded upper to help with comfort and give it a futuristic feel. The padded tongue has SGA’s signature logo, inspired by his number 2 jersey, athleticness, and creativity.
“I poured my heart and soul into the Shai 001, and I’m proud to share it with the world,” SGA said in a statement on Converse’s website.
