The Wisconsin Badgers have seen quite a few of their alumni migrate overseas for professional opportunities over the past two years.

That list includes Tyler Wahl, who signed a professional contract with KK Zadar last year after playing in the NBA Summer.

Well, in his first year with the Croatian team, Wahl shone, averaging 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds per game, and 2.9 assists per game, while shooting 58.5 percent from the field in 26.1 minutes a contest.

Emerging as a key piece, Wahl aided KK Zadar on their route to a third-straight Croatian League Championship, as the team went 30-3 on the year.

Now, the forward is taking his talents elsewhere, as reports surfaced that Wahl has signed a contract to play for Panionios B.C. in Greece, making a step up.

“Panionios B.C. is pleased to announce the signing of American player Tyler Wahl ahead of the 2025-26 season,” they announced in a statement. “Wahl will strengthen our team’s effort in the upcoming demanding season in the Stoiximan GBL and the BKT EuroCup. He was born on March 7, 2001, in Lakeville, Minnesota, stands at 2.06 meters tall, and will add depth to Panionios’ frontcourt.”

“We welcome Tyler Wahl to our team and wish him health, strength, and success as we pursue our goals together.”

Panionios B.C. currently plays in the third division of the Greek Basketball League, and has added several players in recent days to bolster their 2025-26 roster. Wahl is among that group, and he’ll look to continue his successful overseas career, taking the next step on a new team.
