Summer workouts are coming to a close as players will take a break and return to Lexington at the end of the month for the fall semester to begin.
With plenty of new faces on the roster this coming season (and several returnees), the BBN has been clamoring for more and more practice highlights as the team has been building chemistry and getting a jump start on a hopeful Final Four run.
Well, folks, we got several more brief looks today.
The Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Twitter account gave the fans a quick inside look tonight as they released four short clips to give a sneak peek into what has been happening at the Joe Craft Center.
Led off by showing Kam Williams knocking down a few jump shots, they then pivoted to showing Denzel Aberdeen hitting Malachi Moreno with a pocket pass in the pick-and-roll for a layup.
That not enough? They also give a good look at Collin Chandler returning to the court and knocking down a jump shot.
Perhaps the most exciting aspect is watching Jasper Johnson utilize his playmaking and ball-handling skills to come off a screen and hit the three after a jab step, freeing himself up on the perimeter.
The season will be here soon, folks. Going to be fun to watch.
