Georgia Southern basketball learns Sun Belt schedule for 2025-26 season

Georgia Southern men’s and women’s basketball teams now know the path ahead for Sun Belt Conference play, as the league released its full schedule for the 2025-26 season this week. Each program is set to play 18 conference games — nine at home and nine on the road — leading up to the Sun Belt Tournament beginning March 3 in Pensacola, Florida.Both Eagles squads will open conference action at home against in-state rival Georgia State, with the men tipping off on Dec. 17 and the women following on Dec. 18. To start the new year, both teams will hit the road. The men begin a three-game road stretch with trips to Coastal Carolina (Jan. 1), Old Dominion (Jan. 3), and South Alabama (Jan. 10).
