Philadelphia 76ers stars Joel Embiid and Paul George have done a lot in their respective NBA careers. Despite injuries being a key factor in each player’s story, both Embiid and George have developed into two of the best players the game has ever seen in this league’s history.
Embiid has been named an All-Star seven times in his career and also has won the MVP award in 2023. He was on his way to winning MVP again in 2024 before suffering a gruesome knee injury in January of that season. George has been named an All-Star nine times in his career, finished third in MVP voting in 2019, and has reached the conference finals three times in his career–including guiding the Los Angeles Clippers there in 2021 for the franchise’s only trip that far into the playoffs.
