Seth Curry and one Golden State Warriors star got into a verbal battle right next to Stephen Curry, and some harsh words were exchanged.

Stephen Curry is by far the most important player on the Golden State Warriors. You can’t understate just how important Curry is to his team.

The pecking order on the Warriors is very clear – Curry is at the top. That isn’t to say that there aren’t players who are important. But clearly, Curry is the head honcho.

Steve Kerr recently praised Stephen Curry’s bravery, not being afraid to take any big shots during games, no matter the situation.

Perhaps this is why Curry was happy to go 0-9 in an NBA Finals game. But his power on the team might not go beyond his ability.

Curry and the Warriors often played against his brother, Seth Curry. And during one game against Seth, one of his Warriors teammates got into a heated argument with the younger Curry brother.

Seth Curry spoke on the Greatest of their Era podcast about an incident he had while playing against Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

Draymond Green and Seth got into a huge trash-talking fiasco on the court. And Green had some harsh words for Seth, right in front of his brother, Stephen Curry.

“We were playing the Warriors one year… Draymond is out there, we’re going back-and-forth, he’s talking. I get fouled, I might’ve got an and-one or something.

“I say something to him, and I’m at the free-throw line. He’s like, ‘Why you talking? You a journeyman. You’ve been on every team in the league.’

“And it was really funny because Steph was right there… It was kinda awkward. Draymond, that’s my guy, but he’s gonna talk when he’s on the floor.

“So, I’m talking back to him… I said back to him, ‘That’s a badge of honor for me. You know how many guys have been on two teams and out of the league?’

“I’d rather be on eight, nine teams, have a 12-year career than, like he said, be one and done.”

Stephen Curry and Golden State Warriors were unstoppable at their prime

The confidence that Draymond Green had in the story Seth Curry told suggests it was during the prime years of the Golden State Warriors dynasty.

Between 2015 to 2019, the Warriors were the most dominant team in the NBA. On any given night, they could vanquish any side in the league.

Between the 2014-15 season and the 2018-19 season, the Warriors had a whopping 322-88 record. That means on average, the Warriors lost just under 18 games in a season.

It’s hard to put into words just how dominant the Golden State Warriors were in the second half of the 2010s. For many fans, you just had to be there.
