Rochester, N.Y. — A famous NBA athlete visited Rochester Saturday to help kids learn the fundamentals of basketball.
Thomas Bryant, a basketball native, partnered with the local YMCA to host his annual basketball camp at Bishop Kearney High School.

Attendees got to work alongside Bryant and volunteer coaches to practice ball handling, passing, and shooting to improve their game.
“For me, it’s always about giving back and just doing this one little thing I’ve always wanted to do in order to give back to the community and to do it here at Bishop Kearney, where I was, it feels good to just relive these moments a little bit too,” said Bryant.
Everyone attending the free camp received a t-shirt, snacks, and other giveaways.
