The Utah Jazz released their uniform schedule today, showcasing the team’s hard pivot to purple.

Along with this year’s uniform schedule, the Jazz revealed detailed photos of the new uniforms and a new court.

This year will be the awkward transition from the black, white, and yellow theme of the last two seasons to the modern purple mountain theme of the future. Nike and the NBA require the Jazz to keep the white ‘Association Edition’ and the black ‘Statement Edition’ uniforms in the rotation for one more year before they can entirely discard the failed rebrand. Utah seems dedicated to moving on as quickly as possible. They’ve frontloaded all their games in black uniforms early in the season before Thanksgiving, and all 26 of their white uniform games are on the road.

During the offseason, the Jazz announced their rebrand back to purple and released a schedule for uniforms each year. After this year, they’ll introduce new primary uniforms that combine the purple mountain style with the modern gradient that Jazz fans love.

Those will be joined by the black and purple statement uniforms introduced this season, as well as a yet-to-be-revealed ‘City Edition’ uniform.
