Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats are starting to get prepped for some fall visits as they look to land their first commitment in the 2026 class. There are plenty of names on the big board, but one is fairly new overall.
Ethan Taylor, a 5-star center that plays for Link Academy in Branson, received an offer from Kentucky back on July 29th, and since then, he has been mentioned as a legit threat in his recruitment.
That trend continued Saturday as Taylor trimmed his list down to six schools.
According to a report by Joe Tipton of On3, Taylor has trimmed his list down to UK, Kansas, Indiana, Michigan State, Oregon, and Oklahoma.
Taylor, a 7-foot, 244-pound center, is currently considered a 5-star prospect and the No. 22 player in the 2026 class according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
Alongside trimming his list, he also scheduled visits to all six finalists with a trip to Lexington coming the weekend of Big Blue Madness on October 10th-12th.
Let’s see if Coach Pope and this staff can continue to try and close in this recruitment.
