The Philadelphia 76ers found themselves a steal in free agency when they were able to land Jabari Walker on a two-way deal after he spent three seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. As Walker continues to develop, he figures to eventually play a role for the Sixers.

Walker, who played two years at Colorado before jumping to the league, took steps forward in the 2024-25 season with the Blazers. Even though he is on a two-way deal, one has to believe the Sixers will certainly give him a chance to earn a spot on the roster and, eventually, the rotation when considering the uncertainty surrounding Joel Embiid and his knee surgery.

In terms of his uniform number, Walker wore No. 34 with the Blazers. Of course, that number is retired by the Sixers to honor Charles Barkley. Therefore, Walker will wear No. 33 for Philadelphia.

As Walker looks to embark on a new chapter in the league with the Sixers, one has to believe he will have a chance to make things happen and give Philadelphia some help on the interior.
