TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Arizona Women’s Basketball has an entirely new look entering 2025.

New coaches. New roster (except for Montaya Dew).

There are plenty of chances to get to know the Wildcats at McKale this season.

The program announced it will play its entire nonconference schedule at home. That includes a pair of exhibitions and 11 regular-season matchups. Last year’s team played three nonconference away games and a pair of neutral-site games in the Acrisure Holiday Invitational in Palm Springs, California.

This year’s nonconference slate also features no Power 4 opponents, compared to two each of the past two seasons.

Arizona will continue its developing rivalry with in-state foe Northern Arizona. The Lumberjacks went 2-0 against the Wildcats last season, including in the first round of the WBIT.

The Wildcats open the year with back-to-back exhibitions against West Texas A&M (Oct. 23) and Cal State LA (Oct. 30). The season opener is Nov. 6 against UC Riverside.
