With the summer AAU circuit wrapping up, now is when we’ll see college visits start to ramp up.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, Adams will take an official visit to Kentucky on September 5. Additional visits have also been scheduled with Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Michigan State, and Texas. That kind of list speaks to how special of a prospect Adams is viewed nationally, and Kentucky remains firmly in the mix.

A 6-foot-7, 200-pound forward from Georgia now plays for Sierra Canyon in California. He’s ranked 29th overall in the class of 2026 by Rivals, 41st by 247 Sports, and 44th by ESPN. His older brother, Marcus Adams Jr., was a class of 2023 signee of Kansas and is now at Arizona State.

“While Adams has a very versatile offensive attack, he has a few clear weapons. First, he’s an exceptional mid-range shooter off the dribble. He can create space with his handle, but has very advanced footwork, both at the end of his drives and in the mid-post. He’s even a threat to make some tough one-foot step backs from 12-15 feet and now starting to makes threes off the dribble. He’s also a pick-and-pop threat to the arc, able to straight-line drive bad close-outs, put the ball on the floor in the open court, and make reliable decisions (1.5 assists to 1.4 turnovers). At his best, he’s also putting pressure on the rim.“
