Since he’s handing out pardons…

Former NBA star Sebastian Telfair is reportedly looking to the highest office in the land to avoid his lengthy prison stay this year.

The Brooklyn, NY native and Lincoln High legend is scheduled to be put behind bars for six months on Tuesday after allegedly violating the conditions of his supervised release stemming from the healthcare fraud case he was wrapped up in along with several other ex-players.

Glen “Big Baby” Davis, Will Bynum, Keyon Dooling, Terrance Williams and Alan Anderson were all sentenced to stints in prison over the past couple of years for their respective roles in the case.

During an on-street interview with TMZ Sports, Telfair claimed the whole situation is “definitely some [BS]” and that he believes if Donald Trump were to hear his story his jail time would be wiped out entirely.

“Trump, go check in on my story and you’re definitely going to want to pardon me,” the ex-point guard begged. “You’ll hold me accountable and want me to continue to go do good. But I did too good to being sending anybody to jail.”

Telfair was initially sentenced to time served plus three years of supervised release. However, he was re-sentenced this summer to a six-month lockup after the court claimed he failed to satisfy the terms of his release.

The former No. 13 pick chalked the whole thing up to a “paperwork” issue. But claimed that if the Republican president were to pardon him he would use it as an opportunity to improve himself and work on his book.

“It’s super unfair. I’m definitely mad I put myself in this situation,” Telfair said. “But we definitely have got some wins coming. So, my fans, just hold tight.”

Bassy only averaged 7.4 points and 3.5 assists per game for his career. But he’s still regarded as one of the most exciting high school phenoms to ever come out of the New York area to this day.
